JR Smallbore Division 2010
The Junior Smallbore Division of Phoenix Rod and Gun Club is a place to train new shooters to be the expert marksmen of tomorrow.
Juniors meet every Saturday at 8:00am, using either the outdoor Smallbore range, or if it is available the indoor Smallbore range.
There are currently 32 young shooters, with room and equipment for more.
The requirements for Junior Smallbore shooters are designed to attract new shooters to the sport. Shooters must be between 10
and 20 years of age, and must supply their own eye and ear protection, as well as standard velocity .22 long rifle rimfire ammunition. If
the ammunition is not available the club will supply it at our cost. The club will supply all target equipment, including the rifle.
The only other requirement is that parents stay to help supervise, as well as learn everything that their children are learning in the
process.
If you are interested in the Junior Smallbore division of Phoenix Rod and Gun Club please contact the director of Junior Smallbore,
