Every year the Practical Division likes to recognize certain individuals for their contributions of time and effort in helping make the Practical Division run smoothly and successfully. We award plaques for the following: The “Above and Beyond Award” recognizes those individuals who gave extraordinary efforts during the last year. The “Volunteer of the Year Award” is given to an individual that we feel should be given extra recognition for all the time and efforts given throughout the year and the “Mickey Roberts Memorial Award” is given to an individual that has worked diligently behind the scenes to make the Division run smoothly and successfully. This award was created in honor of Mickey Robets who passed away a few years back. She worked countless hours behind the scenes and was instrumental in making Division and Range what it is today. This year’s recipients are:
- Above and Beyond: Bob Border, Deor Jenson, Tom Murray, Robert Tasso, Mike Marneras, Darryl Hugaboom, Richard Shepperd, Ben Anderson and Mark Thomas
- Volunteer of the Year: Bilal Salaam
- Mickey Roberts Memorial Award: Bruce Kilgore
